Why I became a Homeopath
I began studying Homeopathy after it helped me when I had Post Natal Depression and helped one of my children with terrible eczema and the other with a bad reaction to a vaccination.
Experiences with Homeopathy
Over the 25 years of being a Homeopath I have been a lecturer at the College of Homeopathy, a Regional Tutor, an assessor for the Society of Homeopaths and am a superviser for students and practitioners for both case supervision and professional development.
Babies & Children
Although I see people of all ages with all manner of health problems, the vast majority of my patients are babies, children and their mothers. This is my area of expertise. In my experience, the sooner a baby or young child is introduced to homeopathy, the less medicine of any kind they need! The healthier the mother the healthier the baby or child.
Pregnancy & Childbirth
I was very privileged to be invited to address 500 midwives and nurses at Newcastle University. Their enthusiasm and interest in homeopathy was inspiring and I have since had the honour of attending 5 births in my capacity as a homeopath, the most recent being a home birth. It is my experience that Homeopathy eases childbirth, helping both mother and baby to have the birth experience they want.
Is a way of using homeopathic remedies and principles to deal with the side effects which some people experience after using some medications or medical procedures, such as, steroids, the contraceptive pill and other hormonal replacement drugs, antibiotics and others.
Writing about Homeopathy
I have written many articles for magazines over the years, the most recent being for The Mother Magazine, the Society of Homeopaths Journal and the Alliance of RegisteredHomeopaths Journal.
Talks and Courses
I often give talks to interested groups or run short courses on Homeopathy for the Family. I am currently running a series of workshops in Abbots Langley, Watford. Do contact me for further information.
Working with Homeless Women
I worked at the Homeopathy for A Change, St Mungo's project for Homeless Women. It was an enormously rewarding experience and I was constantly amazed at how quickly and deeply women were able to take back their power, and get back into life after homeopathy.
